Booked a hotel stay and within 5 minutes of taking my money, Gala hotels cancelled the booking for "overbooked" 4 weeks later still no refund. I could have booked that same hotel for $200 more the very NEXT day on their website.
( I did not though, because how can it be overbooked the day before when it was cheaper, but not when it cost more). Had to cancel a different booking because of a hospitalization, I was informed to send hospital paperwork and they would refund 100% instead of keeping a cancelation fee, paper sent and STILL NO refund over 4 weeks waiting. I use to praise and always book here, but look what it has gotten me.
They have "TrustPilot" on their website inferring you support this type of behavior apparently. I can provide copies of the responses by copy and paste from customer service tickets MANY OF THEM.
